This is a test I made that allows you to basically alter anything you want about the lightning. My purpose was to create a low CPU intensive project with high user interactivity. This originated from another project I made, but is greatly improved. Anyway, you can drag around the origin and target (circle and cross hairs respectively) of the lightning to change its position. Feel free to play around with any of the other options as well. I would greatly appreciate opinions on the best possible settings for the coolest lightning. I will be using this engine later for a larger project. Enjoy!

Yellow lightning on a blue background.
But...They seem to only look right when they're fairly close together. That's just what I like though. XD

i figured out how to make water:100 bolt number,25 joint number,0 stray bolts,100 amplitude,and 100 bolt thickness.

gray background, green lightning
although it doesnt really look like lightning any more on those settings :XD:

ooh! thats really cool!! my fave is the green lightning! it looks so awesome. =P
my fave setting is: 1) 7 [bolt number] 2) 10 [stray bolt] 3) 5 [bolt thickness] 4) 10 [joint number] 5) 20 amplitude 6) no preference [background color] 7) green [bolt color]
